“Seeds for the Future” Party!
August 18 @ 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm
| $200Every year, this party gets better and better! Support Berry Good Food’s local school garden grant program by attending its annual signature “Seeds for the Future” party at the sleek indoor-outdoor venue Julep in Mission Hills, San Diego, on Sunday, August 18, 2024, 4-7pm.
New this year, we will have a format of various “mix and mingle” stations with delicious bites from top local chefs, an array of makers tables with exciting local vendors donating a portion of proceeds to BGF, and an exclusive seated area for VIPs with extra tastings, a special gift, priority parking, early entry, and other perks. Of course, we will have our fantastic auction full of great deals on hotel stays, local restaurants, Baja wine and food excursions, spa certificates, and much more. Emceeing the event is one of our favorite hype people, AB Nevarez, a local farmer, educator, musician, environmentalist, and overall fun guy!

Help Grow a Food Movement with us! Since 2017, Berry Good Food has awarded more than $90,000 in grants to 36 schools and educational organizations with garden projects that enhance the teaching of agriculture and healthy eating in our shared bio-region of San Diego and northern Baja. Additionally, these funds have allowed BGF to host 15 chef-led cooking classes serving 275 students, install 42 garden beds on 6 school campuses, lead 40 instructional hours in the classroom, and distribute its signature “Seeds for the Future” bilingual photosynthesis workbook to the community for free.
We are also thrilled to be introducing a new program this year: installing edible gardens at local senior centers and leading classes with residents!
