Alessi is a housewares and kitchen utensil company in Italy, manufacturing and marketing everyday items authored by a wide range of designers, architects, and industrial designers including Zaha Hadid and Philippe Starck.
For this design in particular: Humberto Campana, lawyer, and Fernando Campana, architect, have been working together in San Paolo, Brazil, since 1983 in the field of artistic design. Their hand-made products using urban materials represent the possibility of social redemption in an impoverished country.
