Farmers, Friends and Fishermen VII

| $150The seventh in a series of seasonal dinners held by the Red Door in Mission Hills, this is the first one to be held at the restaurant’s family garden in El Cajon.
4:30: “Farmer face time” — meet with the producers at Suzie’s Farm, JR Organics, and Spur Valley Ranch; explore the garden; and enjoy live music, family-style appetizers, and a garden-to-glass cocktail. Coral Fodor Strong, chef-owner at Garden Kitchen, and Anthony Pascale, chef-owner at Saiko Sushi, will also be mingling with us.
5:30: Red Door Executive Chef Miguel Valdez presents his four-course tribute to the work that our San Diego farmers do. Dine under the trees in the newly developing orchard overlooking the garden; with narration from local farmers, fishermen, wine makers, and Chef Valdez. Wines provided by Vesper Vineyards and Stehleon Vineyards.
$150, including wine pairings and gratuity.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit Olivewood Gardens and Learning Center and the Berry Good Food Foundation.
