Angela Estes is a trained visual artist who rekindled her love of cake making after a brief stint in the bakery of a natural foods market in 2014. She then started a little pop up dessert shop providing high quality small batch baked goods to events & parties all around San Diego. Within a few short years, Angela has built a reputation for beautiful crafting as well as terrific service and in turn has come to cherish being a part of so many special celebrations and creative projects.

Estes’s Wednesday Cake is a custom dessert shop located in San Diego with all products made with the highest quality, locally sourced ingredients in small batches. The bakery prides itself in having not too sweet desserts that look and taste amazing while striving to provide friendly service to match.

The Berry Good Food Academy, the culinary education arm of the Berry Good Food Foundation, hosts hands-on cooking classes every third Sunday of the month from February through October at the state-of-the-art Studio Kitchen by Specialty Produce in San Diego.

Taught by a variety of community chefs and food artisans, the experience brings us close to the source for local and sustainable products, strengthens the community through shared experiences, and encourages us to look for relationships instead of labels.
